Privacy Policy

Last updated: review with counsel before launch

This Privacy Policy explains how CreditFox collects, uses, and protects your information. Because CreditFox handles sensitive financial data, we limit what we collect and who can access it.

1. Information we collect

Account information (email), profile information you provide (name, mailing address, and optional identity fields used to complete dispute letters), the credit-report files you upload, and the dispute items and letters generated from them. Payment details are handled by Stripe — CreditFox never stores full card numbers.

2. How we use it

We use your information solely to provide the service: to analyze the report you upload, to generate dispute letter drafts you review, to mail letters you authorize, and to manage your subscription. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing with processors

We share only the minimum data needed with our processors: report text is sent to our AI provider to identify potential dispute items; letter and address data is sent to PostGrid to print and mail letters you authorize; billing data is handled by Stripe. Optional credit monitoring is provided through ConsumerDirect/SmartCredit.

4. Sensitive data and security

Uploaded credit reports are stored privately and are accessible only to your account. Identity fields are used only to populate the letters you authorize. Access is restricted by per-user security policies.

5. Your choices

You can update your profile, cancel your subscription, and request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us via the Contact page.

This page is a starting template and is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified attorney and aligned with your actual data flows before launch.
